Editorial and AI-use policy

MKX guides are drafted by the research team from primary sources, reviewed by compliance before publication, dated whenever they change, and any AI-assisted text is fact-checked and approved by a named person before it is published.

Risk warning Virtual Assets may lose their value in full or in part, and are subject to extreme volatility. The owner and/or investor in the Virtual Asset can lose all the money or other value they invest, and does not benefit from any form of financial protection.

1. Who writes and who reviews

Guides are written by the MKX Research Team and reviewed by the Head of Compliance before they are published. Both are role placeholders in this prototype. Before a guide goes live, each role must be replaced by a named person whose position and qualifications can be checked on a profile page.

The articles on the live MKX site show no author, no reviewer and no date. This policy is written to change that. The company behind the guides is described on the page about MKX.

2. Sources and fact-checking

Writers start from primary sources: the VARA public register and rulebooks, the publications of the Central Bank of the UAE, and MKX's own Fee Schedule and terms. A statement made by another company is quoted as that company's statement, with a link.

Every fact is logged with its source address and the date it was read. In this prototype the log is a file named SOURCES.md, and anything that could not be confirmed is marked for the owner to verify. A worked example is the guide to VARA licences, which reads MKX's own register entry line by line.

3. Dates, updates and corrections

Each guide shows the date it was published and the date it was last updated. Pages that state fees or describe regulation are checked against their sources at least every 30 days and reviewed in full at least every 90 days. The updated date changes only when the content changes.

When a fact is corrected, the page carries a dated note that says what changed. Figures are never edited silently. If you find a mistake, send a correction to MKX.

4. How MKX makes money, and our interest in what we write

MKX earns a fee of 1.5% on each transaction a client makes, so it has a commercial interest in readers opening an account and trading. Every guide says so and carries the risk warnings that VARA requires. A guide such as the guide to buying USDT in Dubai explains a method and the criteria for choosing a provider. It does not rank providers.

The VARA Marketing Regulations count "educational content including articles, papers, presentations, discussions and tutorials" among the forms that marketing can take. Their exemption for educational content requires a prominent disclaimer of the author entity's interest.

5. Use of AI

Drafting may be assisted by AI. Four commitments apply:

  • Any AI-assisted text, title, meta description, structured data or image description is fact-checked and approved by a named person before publication.
  • The reviewer's name and the date of approval are stored for each page.
  • AI is never used to produce pages at scale.
  • Where automation played a material part in a page, readers are told how it was used.

This prototype was drafted with AI assistance and checked against the sources in its log. Its placeholders, including the author and reviewer roles and every item marked for verification, must be replaced or confirmed before anything is published.

6. No investment advice

Guides are for information only. They are not investment, legal or tax advice, they make no price predictions and they make no claims about returns. The risks of virtual assets are set out in the risk disclosure for MKX clients, and every guide is listed under MKX Learn guides.

About this page

A draft policy written for a concept redesign. MKX must adopt it, and replace its placeholders, before it is published.

Tell MKX which page and which sentence. A correction is checked against the source and shown with a dated note.
