MKX fees: 1.5% trading fee, AED transfers and crypto withdrawal fees (October 2026)
MKX charges 1.5% per trade on fiat-to-crypto, crypto-to-fiat and crypto-to-crypto conversions; AED bank deposits cost 0% from AED 380, AED withdrawals carry a fee of 30 from AED 100, and crypto withdrawal fees are fixed per asset, for example 5 USDT or 0.0001 BTC.

Trading fees
MKX charges one trading fee: 1.5% of each transaction. The Fee Schedule lists the same rate for all three kinds of conversion, so the direction of the trade and the asset do not change it. If you are comparing crypto exchange fees in Dubai, note that MKX is a broker-dealer: its Fee Schedule shows one rate, not maker and taker tiers.
| Conversion | Fee per transaction | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Fiat to Crypto | 1.5% | AED to USDT, BTC or another listed asset |
| Crypto to Fiat | 1.5% | USDT, BTC or another listed asset to AED |
| Crypto to Crypto | 1.5% | One listed asset to another |
Trading limits are not published: the Fee Schedule states no minimum or maximum order size.
The same rate appears on each product page: buy USDT in Dubai with AED, sell USDT and withdraw AED, and Bitcoin with AED: fees and steps.
AED deposits and withdrawals
Dirhams move in and out by bank transfer with a UAE bank account. MKX charges nothing on the deposit and a fixed fee on the withdrawal.
| Transfer | Fee | Minimum | Maximum | Processing time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AED bank deposit | 0% | AED 380 | Not published | Not published |
| AED bank withdrawal | 30 | AED 100 | Not published | Not published |
The table lists what MKX charges. A fee that your own bank sets for sending or receiving a transfer, if it has one, is outside it.
Once a deposit arrives, the dirhams sit in a Client Money Account. The security page sets out how client assets are held.
A fee of 30, with no unit
The Fee Schedule gives the AED withdrawal fee as the number 30 and names no currency. Read as AED 30, it would be 30% of the AED 100 minimum withdrawal and 6% of an AED 500 withdrawal.
Bank transfer only
These fees are for AED bank transfers. Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and cash payments are not confirmed, so no fee is listed for them.
Crypto deposit minimums
MKX charges no fee to receive any of the ten assets on its Fee Schedule. Each asset has a minimum deposit and one or more listed networks.
| Asset | Minimum deposit | Deposit fee | Network |
|---|---|---|---|
| USDT | 1 USDT | 0 | ERC20, BEP20, TRC20, Polygon-POS, SOL |
| BTC | 0.000007 BTC | 0 | Bitcoin |
| ETH | 0.0001 ETH | 0 | ERC20 |
| USDC | 1 USDC | 0 | ERC20, BEP20 |
| XRP | 0.001 XRP | 0 | XRP |
| SOL | 0.001 SOL | 0 | Solana |
| BNB | 0.000002 BNB | 0 | BNB |
| TRX | 1 TRX | 0 | TRC20 |
| POL | 0.002 POL | 0 | Polygon POS |
| ARB | 0.01 ARB | 0 | Arbitrum One |
The MKX terms list seven supported assets (BTC, ETH, BNB, XRP, USDT, USDC and SOL). The Fee Schedule lists ten: the same seven plus TRX, POL and ARB.
Send on a listed network
Use a network from the table for the asset you send. USDT has five listed networks and USDC two; every other asset has one. A blockchain transfer cannot be reversed once it is sent.
Deposits under the minimum
The Fee Schedule does not say what happens to a deposit smaller than the minimum. Check the minimum before you send.
Crypto withdrawal fees and minimums
Crypto withdrawal fees at MKX are fixed amounts in the asset you withdraw, not a percentage. The Fee Schedule lists a minimum withdrawal, an internal fee and an external fee for each asset.
| Asset | External fee | Internal fee | Minimum withdrawal | Network |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| USDT | 5 USDT | 0 | 15 USDT | ERC20, BEP20, TRC20, Polygon-POS, SOL |
| BTC | 0.0001 BTC | 0 | 0.003 BTC | Bitcoin |
| ETH | 0.004 ETH | 0 | 0.008 ETH | ERC20 |
| USDC | 5 USDC | 0 | 15 USDC | ERC20, BEP20 |
| XRP | 0.45 XRP | 0 | 10 XRP | XRP |
| SOL | 0.03 SOL | 0 | 0.1 SOL | Solana |
| BNB | 0.0015 BNB | 0 | 0.0075 BNB | BNB |
| TRX | 10 TRX | 0 | 50 TRX | TRC20 |
| POL | 20 POL | 0 | 30 POL | Polygon POS |
| ARB | 20 ARB | 0 | 45 ARB | Arbitrum One |
Internal is read here as a transfer to another MKX account and external as a withdrawal to an address outside MKX; the Fee Schedule does not define the two words. One fee is listed for all five USDT networks.

How prices are formed
The 1.5% is one part of what a trade costs. The other part is the price. MKX is a broker-dealer, so you trade at a price MKX quotes and not against an order book. The licences page has the VARA licence details.
The first price you see is not final. The converter on the MKX buy pages describes it as "indicative and not a quotation", because crypto prices move with the market. The final pricing and fees are displayed on the trade execution screen before you confirm.
MKX names Binance as its primary external liquidity provider and says its prices are set from current market conditions and the liquidity available through Binance. Its broker-dealer disclosure also describes a Best Execution Policy that weighs four factors: price, speed, likelihood of execution and cost.
MKX does not publish a spread, which is the gap between a quoted price and a market reference price at the same moment. Until it does, compare the price on the trade execution screen with a public market price before you confirm.

Worked examples
Three small transactions, worked with the published fees only. The amounts are small on purpose: a fixed fee is easiest to see on a small order. None of them is a quote.
Buy USDT with AED 500
You send AED 500 by bank transfer, which clears the AED 380 minimum. The deposit fee is 0%, so AED 500 reaches your balance. Converting all of it carries the 1.5% trading fee: 1.5% of AED 500 is AED 7.50. That leaves AED 492.50 to convert at the price on the trade execution screen. The Fee Schedule lists no charge for holding the USDT in your MKX account. Sending it to an external wallet costs a fixed 5 USDT, and you need at least 15 USDT to withdraw.
Sell 500 USDT and withdraw AED
You send 500 USDT to your MKX wallet on one of the five listed networks. The deposit fee is 0 and the minimum deposit is 1 USDT. Selling all of it for dirhams carries the 1.5% trading fee, which is the value of 7.5 USDT, so the proceeds are the value of 492.5 USDT at the quoted price. Sending the dirhams to your bank then carries the fee the Fee Schedule lists as 30, with a minimum withdrawal of AED 100.
Withdraw 0.01 BTC to your own wallet
0.01 BTC is above the 0.003 BTC minimum withdrawal. An external withdrawal carries a fixed fee of 0.0001 BTC, which is 1% of 0.01 BTC. If the fee is taken from the amount you send, 0.0099 BTC arrives. If it is added on top, 0.0101 BTC leaves your balance. At the 0.003 BTC minimum the same fee is 3.3% of the amount. The internal fee for the same Bitcoin is 0.
Two guides work through larger orders: the total cost of buying USDT, worked through, and the cost of selling USDT and withdrawing AED.

How to work out the cheapest way to buy crypto in the UAE
No route costs least for every amount, so this page gives a method and not a ranking. Add five costs for the amount you plan to move, all in dirhams, and compare the totals.
-
Trading fee
The percentage or fixed charge on the conversion itself.
1.5% at MKX, every trade
-
Spread
The gap between the price you are quoted and a market reference price. A small trading fee can sit beside a wide spread.
Not published at MKX
-
Deposit rail fee
What the provider charges to receive your dirhams by the rail you use.
0% AED bank transfer at MKX
-
Withdrawal fee
What the provider charges to send the crypto to your own wallet. It is often a fixed amount, which weighs more on a small order.
5 USDT external USDT withdrawal at MKX
-
Network fee
The blockchain's own charge for the transfer, which depends on the network. Check whether the withdrawal fee already includes it.
Not stated at MKX
Where MKX is simple: one percentage on every trade and no fee on an AED bank deposit, so two of the five lines are known before you start. Where the flat structure costs more: the withdrawal fees are fixed amounts, so they take a larger share of a small order than of a large one. This page does not claim that MKX is the cheapest route, and it quotes no other provider's prices, because none has been measured for it.
What is the cheapest way to buy USDT in the UAE?
The cheapest way to buy USDT in the UAE is the route with the smallest total of those five costs for your amount, and it changes with the amount. Take AED 500 at MKX. The deposit costs AED 0 and the trading fee AED 7.50. An external withdrawal adds 5 USDT, which at an illustrative AED 3.67 per USDT (not an MKX quote) is about AED 18.35. That makes about AED 25.85, or 5.2% of AED 500, before the spread and any network fee. If the USDT stays in your MKX account, the published fees total AED 7.50, or 1.5%. Run the same sum for any other provider with its own published numbers, on the same day.
A method, not a ranking
Comparing named UAE providers needs prices measured on one day, with sources. That has not been done for this page, so it names no cheapest provider.
Terms and guides
The glossary defines network fee, spread and other terms. The guides in MKX Learn cover buying, selling and the rules in Dubai step by step.
Methodology and review
This page is the single reference on this site for MKX trading, deposit and withdrawal fees. The other pages quote their figures from it.
Source. Every figure comes from the Fee Schedule page of the live MKX site, read on 6 October 2026. That page shows no date of its own, so the dates here are the days the figures were checked, not the day MKX set them.
What is left out. The tables cover what MKX charges on its published schedule. They leave out the spread, any blockchain network fee, charges set by your own bank, processing times and maximum limits, because MKX publishes none of them. Whether business accounts or OTC trades are priced differently is not published either.
Review. The figures are checked against the Fee Schedule every 30 days and the text is reviewed every 90 days. The "Last reviewed" date moves only when something on the page changes, and each change is entered in the change log.
Changes by MKX. Under the terms, MKX reserves the right to modify the Fee Schedule at any time, and a client who raises no objection within thirty (30) days is taken to have accepted the change. The legal page sets out the terms that govern fee changes.

Fee questions
Does MKX charge for AED deposits?
No. MKX charges 0% on an AED bank deposit, and the minimum deposit is AED 380. A fee that your own bank sets for sending the transfer is separate and is not on the MKX Fee Schedule. How long a deposit takes to reach your balance is not published.
What is the USDT withdrawal fee at MKX?
5 USDT for an external withdrawal and 0 for an internal one, with a minimum withdrawal of 15 USDT. The Fee Schedule lists the same figures for all five USDT networks: ERC20, BEP20, TRC20, Polygon-POS and SOL. At the 15 USDT minimum, the external fee is a third of the amount.
Is there a fee to move funds between MKX accounts?
No fee is listed. The Fee Schedule shows an internal fee of 0 for all ten assets, read here as a transfer from one MKX account to another. The minimum withdrawal for the asset is on the same row of the table, for example 15 USDT or 0.003 BTC.
Does MKX add a spread?
MKX does not publish a spread, so this page cannot give a figure. MKX says its prices are set from market conditions and the liquidity available through Binance, and that the first price shown is indicative. Compare the final price on the trade execution screen with a public market price before you confirm.
Can fees change?
Yes. The terms say MKX reserves the right to modify the Fee Schedule at any time, and that a client who does not object within thirty (30) days is treated as accepting the change. This page is checked against the Fee Schedule every 30 days, and each change is dated in the change log.
Are network fees included?
The Fee Schedule does not say. It lists one external fee per asset, such as 5 USDT or 0.0001 BTC, and no separate line for a network fee. Until MKX confirms whether that fee covers the blockchain's own charge, check the amount on the withdrawal screen before you send.
A question this page does not answer
The FAQ covers more fee and transfer questions. If a fee on your trade screen differs from this page, ask MKX support about a fee or write to [email protected].
